This project manager position is with ISS, serving as a Associate/Senior Associate, within the Project Management team, and is based in Mumbai, India.

In this role, the successful candidate will apply project management processes and methodologies across various cross functional teams to monitor whether projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, adhere to company standards, and meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage software development projects using Agile Scrum project methodology as well as standardized life-cycle methodology
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Assemble and coordinate a cross functional project team that spans across multiple time zones
• Create and maintain a project plan using Microsoft Project that communicates project tasks, milestone dates, statuses and resource allocation
• Identify risks and manage mitigation plans
• Implement and manage all project changes using the change management process
• Communicate to senior management and work with key project stakeholders including Product Managers, Business Unit Heads, Research and Development, Finance as well as others the dates, issues, risks and status of projects
• Identify and implement best practices to ensure the success of projects
• Project portfolio tracking and management
• Manage the mechanics of the project approval process, to include implementation of best practices, training, collaboration with key stakeholders, and communication to senior leadership
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Project Management, Management Information Systems, or related field
• CSM and PMP certified preferred
• 2 – 6 years’ experience in project management
• Expertise in project management techniques and tools, to include Agile project management, risk management, change management, and project portfolio management
• Proficient in MS Project, MS Visio and various MS Office applications
• Knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic, results-oriented, self-initiator
• Critical thinking, understanding interdependencies within different areas of the business, decision-making and problem-solving skills and working effectively with key stakeholders to ensure both company standards and project expectations are met
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to meet organizational success
• Ability to interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels within the organization is critical
• Effective communicator through all mediums
