The Project Manager(contractor) is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time
within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will set deadlines, assign responsibilities
and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports regarding status of project.
General Responsibilities:
• Meet with all India OEM’s to take detailed ordering briefs
and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes
including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process,
testing, documentation, training and on time delivery within budget constraints
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Defines project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation within Sensata globally.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis • Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Experience / Qualifications:
• A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree). Engineering background preferred or strong understanding of automotive technology products.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the
organization including suppliers and/or external customers
• Experience in building business cases for new business opportunities and presenting to management for approval
• Experience in successfully delivering NPD & change management projects which meet the agreed business technical + cost needs
• Managing the execution of the projects on time, on cost, on quality, managing risks, and fulfilling internal + external customer requirements
• Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development
• Proven risk management expertise
• Proficient in project and task management tools; MS Project and Jira
