Project Officer jobs in Hyderabad at National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj

NIRDPR invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Officer (GIS),at Ministry of Rural Development, New Delhi. The requirement for the positon viz. qualifications, experience, age, remuneration etc. is as follows:

1. Position: Project Officer

2. Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 1, 50,000/-

3. Duration of Engagement: Six months

4. Qualification:

(i) M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc in Geographic Information Science/Technology/Remote Sensing & GIS/Geo-Spatial Technology/Geo-Informatics/ Geo-Spatial Science/Surveying and Geo-Informatics/ or

(ii) BE/B.tech with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/ Remote Sensing from recognized University/ Institute or

(iii) MCA with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/ Remote sensing from recognized University/ Institute or

(iv) Post Graduate in Science/ Agricultural Science from Recognized University/ Institute or

(v) Post Graduate in Science/ Agricultural Science with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/ Remote Sensing from recognized University/ Institute.

5. Work Experience: Work Experience of at least 10 years in GIS Projects in reputed government funded organizations like NIRD&PR, NRSC, SRSAC etc. or similar reputed organizations working on GIS based projects. Knowledge on Data Processing/ analyzing and development of Geospatial data.

The Rural Technology Park of National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Hyderabad has been established with a view to uplifting the rural people in all aspects of life such as capacity building, rural employment generation and livelihood etc. It is established in an area of 65 acres of land with a scope to envisage for transfer of technology through live demonstrations. The development of RTP has been dived into various categories to cater to the needs of the rural people.
