Project Scientist I/ Total Vacancy1 Post

Project(s) Title: 'Preclinical Efficacy Validation in Non -Human Primate Stroke Model of Anti-Thrombin-CIot Specific Streptokinase (ACSSK) with dual properties of fibrin specific clot dissolution and prevention of arterial re-occlusion, for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction and iygbemic stroke (MLP-OI 55)'

Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree in Microbiology / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Microbial Fermentation Technology / Life Sciences from recognized university or equivalent. OR M. Tech. in Biotechnology or engineering or Biochemical Microbial Biotechnology with 2 years of relevant experience from recognized university or equivalent

Desirable: Broad practical lab level in experience biochemistry, biophysics microbiology or preferably enzymes and proteins and working experience in the area of protein expression and purification, characterization along with handling of bioreactors and fermenters will be desirable.

Job Description: Successful candidates will be working upon process optimization, up scale production and purification of the toxicological grade recombinant therapeutic protein.
