Project Scientist C (Medical) (Resource Centre Coordinator)

Project: ICMR-NIE – Health Technology Assessment Resource Center Place of Posting ICMR-NIE, Chennai

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Preventive and Social Medicine/Public Health/Epidemiology/Economics/ Public administration/ Hospital Administration/ Actuarial science after MBBS with 1 year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in Public Health/Epidemiology/ Economics / Public Administration/Health management/ Hospital Administration/ Actuarial science/ after MBBS with 2years’ experience OR MBBS degree with 4 years’ experience in Public Health/Epidemiology/ Economics / Public Administration/Health management/ Actuarial science, after MBBS Degree 

Desirable Qualification : Previous experience in conducting of health economic studies or economic models,Doctorate in relevant subject or MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree , Additional Post-doctoral research experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute(s) ,Working Knowledge of Statistical Packages like SPSS, R and spread sheets such as MS Excel. ,Good Scientific writing and communication skills 

Age limit: 40 years

Emoluments: Rs.64,000/- per month (plus HRA)
