Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) invites applications for the position of Project Scientist

1. Position: Project Scientist

2. No of Post: 01

3. Qualifications: Essential Qualification and Experience Qualification:

a) Bachelor of Engineering with qualifying GATE/NET* qualification.

b) Discipline: Mechanical Engineering Experience: One year Desirable Knowledge of Softwares: Solidworks/ Catia V5/ Fusion 360/ AutoCAD Mechanical CAD/CAE Softwares ANSYS/ Altair HyperWorks for advanced CAE MSC Adams/ Ansys Motion/ Susprog 3D for Kinematic and Dynamic Analysis Animation & Simulation Presentation using CAD Motion Analysis and Video Editing Softwares MATLAB & Simulink (Simscape) ROS, Gazebo & RViz Fundamentals Understanding of Concepts: Strong Grip on Structural, Kinematic and Dynamic Analysis with respect to electric vehicles and robotic arm applications.

c) Designing for Robotic/Mechatronic Applications considering the electronic equipment and sensor requirements in mind. Bonus Skills: Understanding of Linux, Arduino Microcontrollers, and basic C++, C#, Python coding skills for further advancement in the field of robotics.

4. Consolidated Pay-slab : Rs.37,000/-p.m. (consolidated)

5. Title of the Project: Design and development of Robot for sliver can transfer from one machine to designated RP03617G

6. Funding Agency: Department of Heavy Industry
