Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier

2. Title of the Project: Development of a low cost wireless sensor network for monitoring urban air pollution (Under FIRP Scheme of IRD 2019 call M102086G

3. Deptt/.Centre: Department of Design

4. Duration of the Project: Upto:15/06/2022

5. Salary: 35400 - 50,000/-

6. Qualification:

i. 1st class Bachelors, Masters, or Ph D., in electronics or related discipline with qualifying NET/GATE* examination with significant hands-on experience.

ii. Excellent knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and battery-operated communication, wireless hands-on systems. Strong experimental and experience in embedded systems and wireless networks development.

iii. Be capable of developing sensing systems at a hardware level, from components selection to PCB design, hardware debugging, integrating and field testing of the systems.

iv. Soft skills desired: Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

v. Adaptable and flexible to the changes based on the research needs. Self-motivated and independent learner and not afraid to develop and test novel ideas.

vi. The requirement of qualifying NET/GATE qualification may be relaxed by the Committee in case of highly meritorious candidates.

IIT Delhi is an autonomous statutory organisation functioning within the 'Institutes of Technology Act' as amended by 'The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963'.
