Essential Qualification: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and
registered with any state nursing council
Desirable Qualification and Experience: a) B.Sc., in Nursing
b) Experience in data collection in field based health research
surveys
c) Experience in clinical examination
d) Experience in collection of nasal and oro-pharyngeal swabs
e) Proficiency in speaking / reading / writing in Tamil
Emoluments Rs.31,500/- per month
Age Limit UR – 30 years,OBC – 33 years (including 3 years age relaxation)

Essential Qualification: 12th Pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technology (DMLT) OR One year DMLT + one year laboratory experience in recognized
organization
Note: B.Sc. Degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience
Desirable Qualification and Experience: a) Hands on experience in Clinical Microbiology viz. collection,
transport, processing and culture of clinical specimens.
b) Experience of working as part of research project team
Emoluments Rs.18,000/- per month
