Job Description

Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) invites application for the position Project Technical Officer

No of Post: One post

Name of the Project: Inter-lnstitutional program for Maternal, Neonatal and Infant Sciences A Translational approach-interdisciplinary Group for Advanced Research on BirtH outcomes -DBT India Initiative (GARBH-INI Phase II)

Salary: Rs. 32,000/-

Qualification and Experience: Graduate degree in Optometry or relevant subjects from a recognized University with five years of post- qualification work experience OR Master degree in Optometry or relevant subjects from a recognized University.

Desirable: At least with one year of experience in clinical trials/research projects registered with OCI.

Job Responsibilities:
(i) Assessment of visual acuity as part of neurodevelopment assessment in the infants born to women enrolled in the Cohort [GarbhlNl] at district hospital.
(ii) Visual Acuity will be assessed using Tellers Visual Acuity chart.
(iii) Need to develop the SOPs and training module for the related process.
(iv) Assist Clinical coordinator to develop Case Record Forms [CRFs] and to coordinate and work with Clinical Management team at district hospital
(v) Performing accurate data entry into the database through e CRFs

Age Limit: 30 Years
