ICAM Systems LLP jobs - Proposal Engineer/ Costing Engineer

Responsibilities include:

 1)      Pre Sales

• Design & Sales Support Function

• Prepared bid only if the proposal/bid is qualified to be quoted

• Prepare the technical proposal with proper interaction with sales/customer

• Ensure that Offer is in compliance with the specs & commercially competitive.

• Costing & submit the proposal with Standard/approved T&C only

• Go for technical discussions jointly or independently

• Be a complete backup for the front end sales in all meetings

• Be a part of commercial discussions & finalization with customer

• Arrange the backup quotes for all bought out items from multiple vendors

• Regular Sales Follow up with customer/sales.

2) Standard operating Procedures 

• Works on approved SoPs 

• Work on standardising the processes to improve the delivery time with consistent delivery quality.

3) Post- Sales

• Prepare the order acceptance & take guidance from sales & then send.

• Be the commercial backend coordinator for the order booked

• Prepare the handover document-complete file

3)      Project Technical

• Be part of kick off meeting along with Project team

• Prepare Purchase checklist & comparative statement

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Proposal Turnaround Time - 

  • PLC Proposals - 8 Hours

  • C&I Proposals - 24 Hours 

• Prepare the compliances - against the technical specs.

• Prepare the offer on the given documents & documented customer interactions only.

• Arranging Alternate Competitive Vendors

• Timely Technical & Commercial compliance

• Proposal  Standardization & Compliance to Standard Proposal

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/ Degree Engineering. Graduate/ MBA without technical degree but relevant industry experience are welcome

• 2-5 years,  Higher Experience will also be considered

• Relevant experience in Proposal/ Sales of Automation Platforms and/or Instrumentation

• Technical Competency - PLC/SCADA -  Any standard  platforms acceptable, Preferable Schneider & ABB; Instrumentation
