About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyze and comprehend data given in the form of documents and dossiers
2. Draw insights and actionable points from the data
3. Interact with subject matter experts from various fields and verify findings
4. Weave data points or insights into information briefs
5. Feed data points to think tanks
6. Dissect policy and programs of the government and analyze critically
7. Handle secondary research on the day to day happenings and current affairs
8. Manage critique government decisions from a legal standpoint

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. Candidates who are graduates or have an educational background in public policy, politics, economics, history, journalism, mass communication, and law/legal would be preferred

2. Basic understanding of government functioning and procedures

3. Understanding, experience, or knowledge of any of the below-mentioned fields- public works, infrastructure, irrigation, water management, groundwater resources, education, K-12, higher and technical education, women, and child welfare

4. Knowledge of tribal affairs, social justice, minorities, housing, RERA, urban development, urban local bodies, sanitation, and solid waste management, information technology, and e-governance

5. Knowledge, understanding, and experience revenue, finance, planning, agriculture, forest, animal husbandry, dairy development and fisheries, rural development, panchayat raj, cooperatives, textiles

6. Knowledge, understanding, and experience of law and judiciary, transport, RTO, emissions, road safety, employment and self-employment, public health, environment, and labor
