Job Description

  • Handle and manage all purchase/procurement related items (electronic components/ hardware/Mechanical etc) for multiple programs.
  • Manage inventory of the generic components required by the projects, raise flag when components reach threshold value and order them.
  • Assign and maintain records of components issued to Production facilities,
  • Manage vendors, negotiate with them for the best rates and payment terms.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Capable of doing Audits at vendors place and on incoming lots
  • Need to travel to suppliers/production facilities if required
