We are currently looking for a Purchase Manager to look after the purchase department that is essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.

Job Description : -

Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of Materials and finished parts for production.
Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
Receive Requisitions from the Factory.
Place order – Generate PO by mail / Spectrum.
Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
Float Inquiries to the vendor.
Compare Rates & Specifications of the material.
Request vendors for samples, send the same to factory for testing.
Get approvals for samples and rates
Follow up for dispatch of material; ensure receipt of the material at the factory.
Receive required documents from suppliers and transporters (tax invoice).
Prepare a cost comparison sheet.
Prepare and maintain BOM.
Prepare and maintain BOQ.
Liaison with plant on rejected materials and scrap and arrange for either return to vendor or disposal of scrap and rejection goods.

Qualifications : -

Must be a graduate in any stream.
Must have minimum 5 year of Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
Familiarity with procurement processes and Supplier Quality Metrics with flow-down to supplier contracts and performance reviews.

Knowledge of ERP system preferably SAP relevant to pricing/purchase modules

Office timings : - 10.30 am to 7.30 pm mon-sat.

Salary : - 25,000 to 30,000 /- per month.
