The role’s purpose

In Ramboll we have during the past 30 years developed engineering software packages for our business.
We plan to embrace recent digital technologies and updates in standards and continuously modernize the application / workflow / execution and integrating with other commercial or inhouse software packages.
This job will focus on the software development, integrating the tools in our software in an automation framework.

Your Responsibilities As Software Developer In Ramboll Energy

You will be a software developer interested in building and maintaining finite element software and pre- & post-processing software supporting Ramboll’s engineering software package.
You will use your experience with software development within a virtual and international team to ensure a professional and robust software code that can be further developed in the future.

Key words

Develop and maintain Python interfaces to existing software
Develop and maintain the task distribution software
Develop and maintain a framework for Automated Reporting.

Your competencies

Ability to write efficient code in Python, C#.
Experience in development of API’s using Python, C#.
Experience with development of distributed computing environment like Hadoop and dotnet core and experience in leveraging distributed computing in Python applications.
Working experience with Anaconda, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, Dockers, Kubernetes.
Design develop and support adoption of APIs that deliver robust interactions with Graphics and Post Processing engine and interaction of software.
Design, implementation and maintenance of Post Processing and Graphics Visualization features in Python and VTK.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of unit testing theory.
Knowledge on basics of mathematics and probability.
Knowledge on version control and issue tracking GitHub, GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Scrum.

Good communication skills.

BE / BTech / MSc / MTech in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
Domain knowledge in Civil / Structural analysis will be added advantage.
