Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with a minimum of 8 Years experience in python programming to build functional and efficient server-side applications

You have worked and are experienced working in an Agile environment and coaching junior developers

Your ultimate goal is to create high-quality products that meet customer needs

You will be responsible for managing the backend piece of a live chat environment

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end

You will also be responsible for integrating the front end elements built by your co-workers into the application, therefore, a basic understanding of front end technologies is necessary as well

Responsibilities

Help design and implement functional requirements

Design and implementation of low latency high availability and performant applications

Build efficient back end features in Python Implementation of security and data protection Integrate front end components into applications

Create TDD and ATDD This is mandatory as we work in an agile environment

Prepare technical documentation

Collaborate with UX UI designers to implement design into the code

Coach junior team members Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements

Work with team to create a CI CD pipeline for the deployment of the code Requirements

Solid experience as Python Developer minimum 8 years

Experience with Python frameworks e g Pusher Django Flask Bottle

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services AWS and REST API

Understanding of databases and SQL

Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus Pusher js

Attention to detail Leadership skills
