We are seeking a Python Developer with a 4-7 years of hands-on experience to join our internal team. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering mindset and teamwork-oriented outlook, combined with a strong work ethic and desire to learn. This position is office-based in Hyderabad. The candidate will be working closely with product, business analytics, and management teams to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

● Writing effective, scalable code

● Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance

● Text Processing and analytics with Python

● Strong in data structures and algorithms and computer science fundamentals

● Improve functionality of existing systems

● Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

● Align our platform service architecture to ensure that it supports the requirements and also enable lightweight and iterative development

● Uphold data quality standards and guidelines

● Review third-party products and solutions to determine what is a good fit to the common needs of the Infobelt platform

● Test and debug programs; Improve functionality of existing systems

● Experience running large scale web scrapes

Basic Qualifications

● 4-7 years’ experience with service core development, web development, highly reliable deployments

● Core Python experience

● Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript

● Text parsing, Data mining and cleaning, transforming regex, xml schema handling, json, pandas. Modern code repository usage.

● Familiarity with techniques and tools for crawling, extracting and processing data (e.g. Scrapy, MapReduce, SQL, BeautifulSoup, etc.).

● Experience in building REST API architectures designed for scale and security

● Work experience as a Python Developer and on at least one popular Python framework

● Good SQL and Postgre SQL experience

● Big Data knowledge is highly desirable with Apache Spark, Kafka, Nosqls and any other similar

● Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or Data Engineer or similar role

● Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modeling

● Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (Tensorflow, pytorch or similar)

● Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics

● An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities 

Desired Qualifications

● B.S. or MS degree in Computer Science, business or related discipline, or equivalent experience

● Experience with authorization and authentication frameworks

● A contributor with experience of open source development
