An Overview Of Your Job Role

As Associate, Quality Assurance, you will take lead in end to end testing ownership, planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement. You will be involved in identifying test conditions and creating test scenarios, test cases, test procedure specifications and test data.You will be expected to leverage best practice standards and processes set out by organisation and other industry organisations.

You are expected to be more than good at following skills:

Key Competencies TESTING

• Solid experience with testing tools, techniques, processes, methodologies
• Experience with development and implementation of business and applications systems testing strategy and framework, including functional, system integration and performance testing, GUI testing, regression testing of application on defect fixes and smoke testing
• Experience in defining test strategy, RTM & test planning, test scenarios & test cases
• Data Analysis and Requirement Analysis skill
  

Technical

• Expertise in back end querying with SQL
• Ability to write and execute simple to medium complexity Queries and joins in SQL
• Experience in testing and validation of Data Extracts, File based loaders and APIs
• Knowledge of SOAP and Web services testing.
• Requirements, Test and Defect management tools experience like Devops, JIRA etc.
• User oriented perspective to be able to successfully envision and execute test cases.
  

Must Have- s

• 3-5 years of experience in functional testing
• Solid experience with Agile as well as Waterfall methodologies with the knowledge on SDLC & STLC
• Experience with Test effort estimation and ability meet multiple challenging deadlines - Team player
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• This position is on permanent payrolls of Idyllic Services Pvt. Ltd. and candidate will be working onsite with our client
