Job Description: Tool Room inspection

Audits tool inventory logs by ensuring logs are completed and records maintained according to form instructions.

Ensures new tools have a record created and are tracked in the tool system

Audits the database of all tools and equipment in the tool room

Audits calibration records

Audits the tool scrap logs for tools that are removed from service and ensures the tools have been quarantined or dispositioned properly

Audits tool rooms to ensure tools are being maintained in a proper condition

Ensures the publication and posting of calibration reports on the company intranet

Manages the staffing requirements at each facility

Manages and updates inspection status for tools and test equipment under custody

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector
