A reputed company located in Kolkata is looking for Quality Medical Coders.

Job Title:

Quality Medical Coder

Educational Qualifications:

BPharma ./ MPharma. BSc. Microbiology/Zoology BE Biotechnology/Medical Electronics BSC. 

Work Experience:

1 year and Above. (Note: Having Certification would be extra boom but not necessary)

Requirement:

Experience in Medical Coding (or) knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic Computer Skills

Job Description:

Individual would be required to convert Verbal Descriptions into numeric or alphanumeric by using ICD 10-CM, CPT & HCPCS as per HIPAA rules.

Good to have:

Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.

Knowledge of Pharmacology.

Well versed with current coding principles.

Worked with ICD 10 CM codes.

Proficient in assigning codes to diagnoses in Inpatient or Outpatient charts using the ICD-10 CM textbook.

Worked with HCC Coding and used CPT and HCPCS codes based on HIPPA.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Salary:

3l - 8l PA based on performance.
