R&D Engineer

We’re looking for a highly motivated and innovative candidate to join our team.

In this role, you would be responsible for designing, developing, debugging software programs. This includes developing software for our Smart Fab Yield Management Solutions.

Key Qualification

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch or TensorFlow) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
  
  

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The Following

• Develop distributed solutions for large scale deployment within Synopsys Yield Management products
• Perform software engineering tasks, such as build and release, workflow automation, and software integration
• Have excellent communication and presentations skills are mandatory. Listening, understanding, and interpreting the customer requirements are a key part of the communications skill set. Good technical problem-solving skills are a must
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Good understanding of standard Data structure and Algorithms
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems preferably Oracle and Object Oriented Programming development
• Experience with development on Windows and Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience with TCP/IP networking and Linux socket programming
• Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Frameworks
• Must have a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Follow standard and sound engineering practices
• Produce high-quality results whether working collaboratively or independently
