Job Description

Adv No:CS/PG/012 

RA-I in School of Chemical Sciences recruitment in IACS

SERB sponsored research project entitled: “Development of Organo- and Transition Metal based Supramolecular Scaffolds toward Recognition, Sensing and Catalytic Organic Transformations” 

Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of synthetic chemistry and template directed synthesis of macromolecules etc. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in synthesis and knowledge on usual product characterization techniques including spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, isothermal titration calorimetry etc.

Age limit: 34 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

Emoluments: As per rules of the Association. 

Tenure of Fellowship: 1 year from the date of joining as RA-I
