Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing user interface using React.js
2. Working on the development of reusable components and front-end libraries
3. Working on the development of designs and wireframes into the user interface
4. Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
