Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) Bhubaneswar invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment posts of Receptionist, Junior Assistant and Junior Clerk cum Typist.

Age Limit: 21 to 32 years for Receptionist; 21 to 37 years for Junior Assistant; 18 / 21 to 32 years for Junior Clerk cum Typist. Age as on 1st January 2019. Age relaxation as per Government rules.

Educational Qualifications:

Receptionist	Degree / Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management with Knowledge in Basic knowledge in Basic Computer Skills.
Junior Assistant for ULB (Special Driver)	Minimum Matriculation with 12th Class (10+2) pass in Arts / Science / Commerce or possess such other qualification as are equivalent to +2 exam with Knowledge of Computer Skill.
Junior Clerk cum Typist	10+2 Pass (OR) Degree with Arts / Science / Commerce subjects. Computer Knowledge.

Eligibility: The applicant must have Odia as one of the subjects in the Higher Secondary or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard or passed in Odia as language subject in final exam of Class VIII or passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by Education Department Govt. of Odisha on the date of the application.

Examination Fee: ₹ 200/- only for General and OBC category candidates. No fee for SC / ST / PWD category candidates. The fees can be deposited only through online mode using Internet Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI in SBI payment Gateway.

Selection Process: Main Written Examination, Computer Skill Test / Typing Test and Document Verification. There shall be No Interview (Viva Voce).

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was set up by Odisha as a statutory body in the year 1994 for carrying out direct recruitment against Group-C posts in the State cadre (as against District cadre) as may be scheduled in the OSSC Rules, 1993. There are some 85 different cadres of posts/ services under various departments of Government to which recruitment is made through this Commission.
