Regional Director/ Executive Director /4 Posts

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology or its equivalent.

Preferable: Two years full time or three years part time Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ Administration with specialization in Marketing / Finance OR Degree in Law.

Experience: Must possess 20 years post qualification experience in Power Sector. At least 05 years experience should have been in a position having high responsibility such as Superintending Engineer and above, out of which 01 year in a position such as Chief Engineer/ Head of the Department or its equivalent in Power Sector.

Method of filling : By direct recruitment on contract basis for a maximum period of 03 years. Beyond 03 years, these posts would be evaluated and decision will be taken by the Competent Authority.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 48890-94040

Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) /1 Post

Qualification : CA/ICWA /CMA

Experience : Must possess 20 years post qualification experience out of which 10 years shall be in Class- I officer of Government/ Semi Government or equivalent in the Finance or Commercial Department of Private Commercial/Industrial Organization.

Method of Filling : By way of direct recruitment on contractual basis

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 52 years up to last date of submission of application. i.e. 18/02/2019. Upper age limit for MSEDCL employees will be 57 years. Date of birth as per Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and age as on 18/02/2019 should be mentioned in the application.

The erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board was looking after Generation, Transmission & Distribution of Electricity in the State of Maharashtra barring Mumbai. But after the enactment of Electricity Act 2003, MSEB was restructured into 4 Companies viz. MSEB Holding Co. Ltd., Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (Mahavitaran),Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (Mahagenco) and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. (Mahatransco) on 6th June 2005. Mahavitaran distributes electricity to consumers across the State except Mumbai.
