● Knowledge of indirect tax rules in India
● Knowledge of local market practices like salesmen working, cost of transportation
within a city, track costs vs. budgets
To help set up the entire distributor network for the region assigned.
● To help recruit and lead a salesforce that will comprise of Area Sales Managers,
frontline territory sales incharge and sales officers (payroll or outsourced),and
stockist salesmen who will be on the stockists’ payroll
● To ensure the pladis product portfolio is successfully launched in this test area to
the extent of the distribution objectives set.
● To ensure that the sales volume and value generated on an on-going basis is as per
the potential identified of that region.
● To be the administrative head of the sales team in the assigned region, and be their
supervisor, coach, mentor and controller.
● To help execute pladis’ contingency plans that will be centered in this region.
● Responsible for Channel Management in terms of establishing Performance
Evaluation system & parameters, & monitoring both the Distributors & his salesmen
on those.
● Monitoring budget allocation and expenditures to bring in Administrative controls in
terms of T&E/ S&D/ Promotion/, communication Cost and leave taken.
● Sales forecasting.
● Control damages and maintaining stock hygiene at CFA/ RS/ Retail levels
