· Privilege Banker
Business Group – Privilege banking Group caters to affluent set of customers. It has largest set of customers and it is the fastest growing segment in India.
Role of PB:
1. Privilege banker, in ICICI Bank, caters to the different banking needs of the affluent segment of customers and act as their one point of contact for the bank. This is one of the fastest growing segments and we see a lot of potential in the future.
2. Since PB is the single POC for the customer, they deal in all products offered by the bank but usually the focus is around current account, savings account, mutual funds, asset management etc.
3. They are responsible for strengthening the current set of customers that are mapped to them by maintaining the existing relationship, resolving queries and growing business from them by cross selling different products and generating new leads.
4. They are also responsible for acquiring new clients through various channels, attend meetings, understand their banking requirements and cater to those.
The third aspect of the job is interaction and coordination with various stakeholders. These are credit team, operations team, debt recovery team etc. This would also include working with different relationship managers while cross-selling.
