Job Description

Release Engineer-3-6 Years 

Location  : Chennai

Key Requirements :

  • Plan and manage all release activities
  • Sound Knowledge Deployment of .Net & Java based Applications in Web Based Application and Windows Based Application.
  • Sound Knowledge in IIS, SVN, VSS , TFS , SQL
  • Good Exposure to Branching and Merge strategies in SVN.
  • Manage deployments to QA, UAT, and production environments.
  • Release Engineer will hands-on contributor working with Development, QA, IT, and Database operations.
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates.
  • Release Reporting.
  • Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
  • Ensure the availability of the environment (minimizing the environment downtime).
  • Update Environment delivery status in stand up meeting.
  • Maintaining all servers (QA,UAT and Production)
