Responsibilities for Research Analyst Proposal Manager

1. Perform qualitative and quantitative research and consultation on relative markets.

2. Create clear and useful reports and recommendations for organizational use.

3. Translating solutions into effective business proposals.

4. Analysing various business products and services.

5. Coordinating proposal development.

6. Editing content for clarification and consistency.

7. Adhering to proposal schedule deadlines.

8. Understanding proposal databases.

9. Plan and facilitate proposal management activities to support the RFP, RFQ, Task Order or RFI responses. To include such activities as â create compliant response template; create and manage calendar; coordinate technical writers, teaming partners and external consultants; write proposal content; conduct required desktop publishing and production support.

10. Develops technical and management strategies to meet proposal requirements and follows specified capture and proposal processes and procedures.

11. Attends pre-proposal conferences and site visits when required.

12. Collaborates with other professionals (proposal managers, capture mangers and subject matter experts) to solicit capture information to develop win themes and differentiators for clearly articulating a winning strategy, compelling solutions.

13. Conducts research if needed on RFP technical/functional areas to gain better understanding of areas to be addressed and responded to.

14. Prepares matrices, outlines, schedules, and conducts proposal kick-off briefings.

15. Solicits and compiles team questions; monitors questions and answers responses and distributes to proposal team and partnering firms.

16. Formulates graphics and works with the graphics team for developing covers, spins and proposal charts and graphics.

17. Lead proposal colour team reviews.

18. Integrates review comments from multiple sources into the proposal ensuring page count and consistency throughout.

Qualifications for Research Analyst & Proposal Manager.

Firm grasp on the financial decision-making process within the company or organization of employment.
Experience collecting, interpreting and organizing data.
Ability to prepare extensive reports and present findings to companies with clear and concise action advice.
Working knowledge of the target industry and market.
Advanced speaking and report-writing skills for effective communication.
Attention to details and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to keep sensitive business financial information confidential.
A Bachelorâs Degree in relevant field and/or minimum five years of experience preparing written proposals for IT consultancies.
Proficient and knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, G-Suite and other software.
Strong Communication skills (oral and written).
Superior organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Familiarity with FAR and DFAR.
