Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) invites application for the position Research Assistant
The project is titled ‘Femtech and the Possibilities, Pitfalls and Politics of Digital Reproductive Health Management in India: Envisioning Better Reproductive Futures’, funded by the IITD-IIITD MFIRP Scheme. The RA will be reporting to Dr. Paro Mishra (SSH, IIITD) and Dr. Pushpendra Singh (CSE, IIITD)

Duration: 1 year (subject to satisfactory work execution) (likely to be extended for next 1 year)
Qualification and Experience:
a. MA in Sociology/Social Anthropology/Gender Studies/ Public Health/ related Social Sciences. M.Phil is desirable.
b. Those with an interest in Medical Anthropology, Gender, Artificial Intelliegnce, Sociology of Health and Illness, Sexual and Reproductive Health are strongly encouraged to apply.
c. Candidates with some research experience in their previous programmes of study or research experience in a professional setting should indicate this in their applications. Undergraduate training in Computer Science/ Human-Centered Design and ability to conduct qualitative research will be an added benefit.
d. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Qualitative Data Analysis Software (like Nvivo, QDA Miner) and Zotero. Demonstrable ability to do high quality research writing.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Reporting to the PI at IIITD and working collaboratively with research staff at partner institutions at IIT, Delhi.
b) Conducting a literature review
c) Conducting surveys (online and offline) and data entry and analysis.
d) Qualitative data collection/Interviews with all stakeholders; Translation, Transcription and Analysis 5
e) Organisation of field data and Preliminary analysis of data and preparation of reports/papers etc.
f)Any other project related work identified by the lead team.
Compensation and Terms: The candidate will be paid up to Rs 30,000 per month, The term will begin on ______ February, 2022. Please note this is a full-time position and candidates must be able to commit to working full-time on the project
