Qualification: Completed Master's degree in Geography or Sociology (candidate must have the marksheet and degree certificate of the final exam in possession before applying) . 02 years of research experience .Proficient in Bangla and English . Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office .Ability to understand and comply with safeguarding and ethics in research processes . Willingness and capacity to work remotely as well as come to work at Jadavpur University. en to residential fieldwork in Indian Sundarban Delta

Desirable: Research experience in Indian Sundarban Delta . Experience of planning, conducting, and analysing interviews .Work effectively in a team, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of others to help teamwork development.

Salary: INR 20,000/- per month (Consolidated)

About the Project: Gender-sensitive Rapid Assessment of the Impacts of Cyclone Amphan and its effect on the SDGs in the Indian Sundarban Delta (GRAICAS-LD) is a one-year project which aims to examine with a gender lens the impacts of Cyclone Amphan compounded by the ongoing stress created by COVID-19 on the delta dwellers of Indian Sundarban, to understand how the progress towards SDGs have been affected, and finally co-produce recommendations to meet SDG targets and to 'Build Back Better'.

Age: 40 Years (Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged and women candidates)
