Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Research Assistant 

Title of project: Energy-efficient reconfigurable silicon photonic integrated devices and circuits for optical interconnects (ERSPIC)    

Sponsor of the project: DST (BRICS STI )    

Project position(s) and number: Research Assistant, 01    

Qualifications: Essential
(a) Undergraduate degree in Science/ Engineering Technology
(b) Experience in labview programming and automation of scientific equipments/Strong programnling skills in C++/Java/ HTML

Desirable: Familiarity with operation of optical equipments like lasers and power monitors etc.    

Salary: Rs. 22,000/- Consolidated    

Duration : One Year and Eight Months    

Job description:
(i) Performing measurements on photonic chips
(ii) Automation of measuretnents set-ups and devices
(iii) Website development
(iv) Assistance in report writing of research work
