Job Description

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites application for the position Research Assistant/Research Scientist

Project entitled “Source Apportionment, Emission Inventory and Carrying Capacity Study for Dehradun city, Uttarakhand”

Post Name : Research Assistant

No of post : 02

Emoluments : 18,780/- p.m

Essential qualifications : M.Sc. (with at least 55% marks) or B.Tech or B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering with four-year experience. Upper age limit- 35 yrs (relaxation of 5 years for Female/SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates as per GOI norms)

Desirable qualifications/experience : Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Math with experience with computer data analysis, laboratory maintenance, record keeping, field work etc.

Emoluments : 56,000/-p.m +HRA

Essential qualifications : Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science

Desirable qualifications/experience : Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science with experience in air quality, atmospheric modelling, GIS, data analytics, field work etc


Age Limit: Upper age limit- 35 - 40 years (relaxation of 5 years for Female/SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates as per GOI norms).
