Qualification

- Strong academic record with master-s (or above) in Economics/ Statistics/ Energy/ Environmental Economics/ Physics/ Engineering/ Social Sciences/ Mathematics, or any other relevant field with up to 4 years of related experience

- Proficiency in quantitative and statistical analysis

- Should be good data hunter-Should be comfortable obtaining information from diverse sources-reports, computer models, journals, attending presentations and conducting interviews

- Inclination towards conducting both qualitative and quantitative research

- Ability to handle, analyse and synthesise large datasets

- Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis with energy system data, modelling and/or analysis,

- Should have an understanding of and interest in India-s energy and climate policy and models

- Candidate must be eager and comfortable with learning new software in general.

- Eager to take on a wide variety of tasks and help with all aspects of the team

- Demonstrated interest in and ability to work collaboratively with highly interdisciplinary teams with limited supervision

- Experience with risk and impact assessment is preferred

- Good communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and delivering quality outputs

- Willingness to learn new research and project management skills
