World Institute Of Sustainable Energy jobs - RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - CLIMATE PROJECTS

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conceptualizing project ideas that are innovative, practical and feasible and the need of the hour, and convert them into firm proposals for submission to externally funded agencies from time to time
2. Networking, liaising and corresponding (both offline and online) with external funding agencies for securing projects
3. Being part of the project team in implementing these projects on the ground Once projects are secured
4. Liaising / corresponding with the funding agencies for smooth execution of the project and monitoring progress of the projects (both offline and online)
5. Scrutinizing online national and international tenders and submitting them as per the given deadlines, from time to time
6. Being part of project teams and assisting them in the necessary project related activities, including research, data collection, tabulation, analysis, etc.
7. Researching and documentation of news, reports, articles for WISE's bi-monthly, renewable energy and climate magazine
8. Researching and collection of technical data, information and statistics for WISE's Renewable Energy Portal
9. Working on any other important assignments as provided from time to time

Qualifications and experience:

1. MSc/MA in Climate and Sustainability Studies OR Climate Policy OR Climate/Environmental Economics OR any other similar degree
2. Desired minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing climate-related projects
3. Excellent command in writing and speaking in English
4. Brief scope of work
