Research Associate job recruitment in ICAR-National Research Centre for Integrated Pest Management (NCIPM) on contract basis

Project Title  :  'ICT based pest surveillance & advisory in rice in Tripura'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Ph.D in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology. Or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology with 4 or 5 years of bachelor's degree/ Master's degree in said subjects with the integrated degrees like B. Tech. & M. Tech. (5 years)/ Professional master's degree in 3 years like MCA & M Tech. etc. in said subjects with 3 years bachelor's degree, having division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associate ship/training/other engagements  

Desirable : Experience in development of applications using Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.NET Technologies or in development of android based mobile applications in the field of agriculture

Emoluments :   

Rs.40,000 month for Ph.D candidate and

Rs.38,000 month for master degree holders

Age Limit

Men : 40 years

Women : 45 years

NCIPM plans and conducts eco-friendly IPM research and development programmes, essentially required for sustainable agriculture.
