1. Post Name: Research Associate Economics

2. Qualifications: Post graduate in Economics / Econometrics from an Institution of repute Additional qualification: M.Phil / Ph.D / those appeared UPSC Mains Exam aspiring to pursue career in research

3. Experience required:

A. Minimum two years’ experience in econometric analysis.

B. Should have experience working on large data set- cleaning, data integrity check and analysis.

C. Should have a comprehensive understanding of household surveys.

D. Ability to work on theme-based research.

E. Excellent writing and data presentation skills.

4. Desirable:

A. Knowledge to use NSSO data and link various primary research database

B. Proven interest towards areas of consumption, savings and investments function of households, and financial inclusion

C. Detailed report writing skills

5. Technical skills:

A. Knowledge of R, STATA, SPSS tools

B. Excellent writing and data presentation skills

6. Job location: IIM Ahmedabad, Gujarat

7. Remuneration: As per industry standards

8. Duration: The position will be offered for an initial period of one year beginning May 2021 and may be extended based on performance.

9. Job Responsibilities:

A. Data modelling, and analysis of household survey data.

B. Writing detailed report and making presentations.

C. Assisting faculties with data analysis and presenting the same.

D. Work for the Centre on various research projects
