Essential:
Good academic record with at
least 55% marks of equivalent
grade where grading system is
practised at the Master’s degree
level in Linguistics from an
Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an
accredited foreign university.
An MPhil or a Ph.D Degree in
Linguistics with specialisation in
Tibeto-Burman morphology/
syntax.
Able to conduct fieldwork with
communities in Sikkim and
speak Nepali/Hindi.
Desirable:
Final year of Ph.D submission in
Linguistics with specialisation in
Tibeto-Burman morphology/
syntax.
Be able to carry out other
responsibilities as assigned by
the Projector Investigator.
