Job Description

Advertisement for Research Associate And Field Worker in Forestry Department

Title of the project: Net ecosystem production and carbon dynamics of forest ecosystems in Northeast India in relation to altitude and latitude gradient Positions: Research Associate (RA-111)-01 no, Field Worker (FW)-01 no (B)

Title of the project:  Assessment of socio-ecological vulnerability to climate change among agroforestry managers along an altitude gradient in the Eastern Himalayas 

Research Associate (RA-III)-01 no, Field Worker (FW)-01

Fellowship-RA-III: (54000+8%FIRA P.M) and FW (18000+8%HRA P.M)
 
Qualifications: (a) Research Associate- PhD (Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Life Science/ Botany/ Ecology) or equivalent degree having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.

(b) Field Worker (FW):  B.Sc (Botany/Forestry/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology). Preference will be given to the candidates with some field/research/laboratory experience.
