Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Research Associate I

Title of project: Investigation of topology in magnetic and correlated systems

Sponsor of the project: SERB, New Delhi, India

Project position(s) and number: Research Associate-I (01 )

Qualifications: PhD in Physics

Emoluments : Rs 47,000/- per month

Duration: One year with extensions for two more years upon satisfactory performance or upto the duration of the Project.

Job description: Theoretical calculations involving density functional theory and other numerical techniques to study the topological properties of magnetic and correlated electronic systems. Prior knowledge of density functional theory calculations and experience in the calculation of topological properties of materials are desired.
