For a Project entitled "Documenting cause of death among tribal population through automated verbal autopsy using information and Communication Technology" (P 6118)

1. Qualification & Experience (Essential) Master Of Public Health (MPH)/MSc Biostatistics/Master of Social work from a recognised university or equivalent And Two year experience in research and academic institution or science and technology institutions. scientific activities and services

2.Qualification & Experience (Desirable) :I. Familiar with any data analysis packages such as SPSS/R/STATA 2. Experience in data management 3. Familiarity with newer technologies in Health research 4.Candidates who belong to Thiruvananthapuram and Wayanad districts are preferred for filling in respective vacancies(one each) in these districts.

3.Number of Post:UR -I,OBC. 1

4.Remuneration:Rs. 28,000/- + 16% HRA per month

5.Tenure of Appointment:One year (Extendable) or till completion of the project. whichever IS earlier.

6.Job Description:1 .Co-ordinate field data collection and field supervision 2 Data Management and to provide periodic updates to the Research officer/Principal Investigator (Pl) on the status of the project 3 Per10dtc evaluation Of the project data and preparing reports 4 Job Includes extensive field work in allotted district of either Thiruvananthapuram or Wayanad. 5. Any other task as assigned by Research officer/PI

7.Nature of appointment:Temporary (Purely on contract)
