Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate for an MGNCRE funded research study on One District One Product.

2. Job Profile:

i. Research Associate should have experience in conducting of literature review, development of survey tools and data collection, apply quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques and methods, collect, compile, validate, interpret, and analyze data using standard

ii. practices and techniques, responsible for maintaining and checking the accuracy of data for assigned projects, monitoring and coordination with survey team, work on moderately complex assignments under indirect supervision, report writing, willingness to travel as needed.

3. The responsibilities of the Research Associate will include the following

i. Conducting literature review, developing tools for data collection.

ii. Travel to meet various stakeholders and beneficiaries and gather data as per requirement under the guidance of the principal investigator.

iii. Clean data, organize, analyze, and present to the research team periodically as per the requirement of the principal investigator.

Desirable Qualification and Experience

i. Post-graduation or above in Management, Agribusiness, Social Work or any other related

discipline

ii. Related experience in research/academic/report writing/fieldwork is desirable

iii. Proficiency in reading and writing Hindi and English and understanding Kannada is desirable

4. Remuneration and Tenure:

Appointment will be made on purely contractual basis. The consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000 will be offered. This is a contractual position for 11 months. The general terms and conditions of employment at IRMA will be applicable.

IRMA was established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC),the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board to provide management education, training, research and consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development organisations in India.
