Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) invites application for the position Research Associate

Project Title: An Artificial Intelligence based forecasting model for non-linear multivariate biomedical time series.

i. The project is funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST) in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MelTy) under the aegis of National Supercomputing Mission.

ii. Department: Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential: Postgraduation in Science, Engineering or Medicine. (M.Sc./M.TecWM.E.hM.D.) Experience with handling medical data and biostatistics. Knowledge in JAVNPython/C/MATLAB/C++.

Desirable: Prior Experience working with High Performance Clusters. Knowledge and experience in large scale parallel and distributed data processing. Knowledge of database tools and interfaces such as S L, PHP etc.

Responsibility: Assisting Principal Investigator in design, development and deployment of distributed algorithms towards processing of non-linear time series data to gain relevant insights.

Emolument: INR 54,520/- (Fixed)

This post is initially for 3 months and can be extended up to the duration of project subject to performance and periodic evaluations.
