Job Description
Candidates are invited to appear before selection committee in the walk-in interview for filling up the purely temporary position of one Research Associate (RA) in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Majee, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:
Name of Position: Research Associate (RA) 01 post.
Eligibility: Candidate having a Ph. D. degree (awarded) in Life Sciences are eligible for interview. Candidates must have at least two research publications of high impact factor. Candidates having prior experience in the area of Seed Biology will be preferred.
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated any time by giving a month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
