Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites application for the position Research Associate

Consolidated Monthly Pay : INR 47,000 – 49,000 per month

Qualification and Experience : PhD in Electronics/Solid State Physics/Condensed Matter Physics with strong publication record and knowledge in Semiconductor Devices or Condensed Matter Physics or equivalent. The candidate should be proficient in computer programming and should be experienced in performing Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulations. Experience with tools like VASP or QuantumATK and working knowledge of Python, MATLAB and LINUX operating system will be preferred. The applicant should be driven, enthusiastic about research and willing to work for the duration of the contract.

Tenure : 1 year extendable till end of project (April 2023) on satisfactory performance
