Job Description

Positions of Research Associate-1 - GS Khush Institute of Genetics, Plant Breeding and Biotechnology

Applications are invited on the prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- as online payment in favor of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana

Qualification: B. Sc. Biotechnology/Agriculture/Horticulture/Biosciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.

Ph.D. in Biotechnology /Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Pay Scale: Rs. 47,000

Maximum age: 35 years

Note-I: The Candidates who do not possess a Masterâs degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Masterâs level shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Desirable: Experience in working in the areas of Molecular Breeding, Plant Biotechnology, Crop Genomics
