Punjab Agricultural University jobs - Research Associate

Applications on prescribed form are invited containing name, address, age, educational qualifications, experience etc. along with attested copies of certificates for the engagement of one position of Research Associate @ Rs.54000/- plus 16% HRA per month fixed on contractual basis for a period of six months provided in the scheme "Reducing nitrogen impacts in northern India cropping systems: realizing production and environmental benefits, Misc. (FC-8) (PC-5542)”.

2. Educational Qualifications: B.Sc./B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks. M.Sc. in Soil Science/Agronomy/Chemistry/Life Sciences with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks. Ph.D. in Soil Science/Agronomy/Chemistry/Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks. Three years experience as Research Associate/Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow and one research paper in science citation index/NAAS rated (4.0) journal.

3. Desirable: Experience of conducting field experiments at on-farm locations, handling, processing and statistical analysis of data, and drafting project reports/research papers.

4. Salary: Rs.54000/- plus 16% HRA per month fixed
