Name of the project: Saksham Pramaan - Programme Evaluation for National AIDS Control Programme (NACP)

Required qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Social Work/Population Studies/Public Health and allied fields

Experience: Minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in research projects, in the field of HIV/AIDS is desirable.

The candidate should have the necessary research skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection, data management, and analysis. Conversant in the local language in addition to English. Well-versed in reporting and documentation. She/he shall have experience in conducting FGDs/IDIs with HRGs and Bridge populations. The candidate should be sensitive towards issues relating to HRG communities and PLHIVs.

Essential: High level of commitment and integrity and ability to work independently. Excellent coordination and organisational skills. Ability to strategize and implement the programme to get the expected outcome. Willing to travel

Desirable: Knowledge of the National AIDS Control Programme and programmatic evaluations

Location: TISS, Mumbai

Duration: 6 months

Salary: Upto 50,000-60000 p.m.
