Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Research Associate

Title of Project: "Water4Change Integrative and fit-for-purpose water sensitive design framework for fast growing liveable cities"

Qualification: Ph.D. in Urban Water Systems/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ with basic/ master's degree in Civil/ Environmental/ Urban Planning and Management with good Computer knowledge and analytical skills.

Salary: Rs. 54,000/pm + HRA as per Institute rules

Duration: Initially one year extendable up to 29/09/2024

Job Description: Candidate shall have to carry out studies related to Urban Water Systems related to Bhuj, Bhopal ad Kozhikode. Requires field visits and interaction with various International and local bodies and mapping exercises Candidates are expected to have good communication skill, reading & writing skills, and are expected to work on software rerated to urban water management. It will have opportunity to interact with Netherland partners.
