Job Description

Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (CMET) invites application for the position Research Associate 

Project Titled: “ Design and Development of Ultrasonic Transducer probe for Medical Imaging” 

Nature of the Post: Temporary and Project based

No. of Post: 01

Tenure of the Post: Initially for one year and may be extended upto the completion of the Project; ie. 30th Septemebr,2023

Qualification Essential: PhD (Physics/Materials Science) or equivalent or ME/MTech in Ceramics/Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science with 3 years of research, teaching and R&D experience.

Desirable : Experience in synthesis of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell(SOFC) electrolytes, preparation of rare earth based ceramic materials and ceramic processing

Emoluments: Rs. 47000 + HRA per month

Research Associate: Preparation of rare earth based Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC),Identification of appropriate compositions for rare earth based SOFC cells, and characterization of the candidate materials and cells

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 30th September2021
