Job Description

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Research Associate-I position in the School of Physical Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata.

Name of the post: Research Associate Physics

Number of post: One (01)

Fellowship: As per rules of the Institute.

Duration: Initial appointment for six month and may be extended further depending on the performance.

Minimum qualification: PhD degree in experimental condensed matter physics/material science. Candidates who have submitted the thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply.

Candidate must produce a letter from competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.

Desirable expertise: Candidates with experience in growth of nanostructure and vacuum electronics will be highly preferred.
